Our most popular boot ever has had a redesign. Adding in a 5th eyelet and redoing the quarter of the boot to obtain a more symmetrical look and a better feel when laced tight. We've also address the issue of a shallow vamp which some people did find the original release had. The boot itself is a throw back to the 1970's guide boots national park guides would wear. A true double vamp/mudguard wraps 2 layers of leather in the upper (along with lining as well) which offer warmth and added cushioning. The quarters are underlaid which means they are stitched internally, which helps greatly with water resistance. The internal underlay panel offers endless color and material interplays with the upper. The boots height is perfect, sitting not as high as our Mohawk Trail but a little bit taller than the Quarter Boot. This is a pair that you can wear all four seasons, that fits well with pants cuffed or relaxed, and that will offer unparalleled comfort for years to come.
